Have you been overeating lately?
Overeating involves 2 aspects:
1 - Eating too much at one time.
2 - Eating too much on an average.
Have you been overeating lately? Do you feel guilty about it? Do you want to lose weight?
Well, that’s a start. It’s good that you have realized that you have been overeating.
Here are tips on how to stop overeating. Always remember that these will act only when you do most of them at the same time and not one at a time.
#1 You should be aware that you are overeating. Don’t eat while using your laptop.
#2 Plan your meal. Limit sugar, sweets. cheese, chocolates in your diet. Eat healthy food.
#3 Working at an office? Makes it easier. Have a competition at your work. Let each person put in 50$. The aim of the game is to lose a certain number of pounds based on your weight and height. It’s easy to calculate. There might be multiple winners, you can share the money.
#4 Keep yourself preoccupied in physical activities. If you sit for a long time (in front of your TV or laptop), you will end up munching chips and other junk food.
#5 Limit the amount of food you eat by placing them in small containers, rather than eating directly from the box where you ordered from.
#6 Eat slowly. Always the golden rule.
#7 Researchers have proved that using a smaller plate can help.
#8 Always believe in yourself and start where you are. Very often people crib about eating too many chocolates on a particular day and give up. This should not be the case. Every attempt you make should be a fresh one.

Sometimes I find that if it doesn’t run faster than I do….it’s fair game! These tips seem very helpful. However, not eating by my laptop could prove to be hard, since I’m always near my laptop! Thanks again!

I always tend to overeat come winter time, it’s like I’m a darn bear and storing up. Great tips here, the only thing I would add is drinking a lot of water!! People(myself included) tend to forget to hydrate more in the winter.
