Depression affects others around you
When you have a low mood continuously and your daily activities are impaired, it usually implies that you are depressed. But did you know that if you are depressed, it not only affects you but affects others around you as well?
The people who are close to you feel bad as you are depressed and they tend to think that it is because of them. It’s very obvious that something is wrong and they blame themselves. And if you are staying with your parents or with others, they have the additional stress of taking care of you. Sometimes, this can lead to them getting depressed as well.
The other aspect of depression is that it affects your work. You may not be in a position to go for work regularly which may even cause you to lose your job. Additionally, any one of your family member may have to skip work to be with you. In some way, it can lead to decreased finances in the family which can again cause depression.
The aim of this article is to tell you that if you feel depressed, talk to someone about it. Tell them how you feel and why you feel that way. Never keep anything to yourself. By being depressed, you are not only affecting your health but also the health of your loved ones.
