Your car may cause weight gain

Published by dratiffarid under Uncategorized Edit This

Your car may cause weight gainResearch has proved that the more time you spend in a car, the fatter you get.

I got my driving license after coming here and I got my car in my 2nd year of college. I’ve been driving ever since. Eventually, I started gaining weight. I joined the gym but that didn’t help me lose weight as I wanted (but I didn’t gain either). So, I decided to walk to places wherever I could. And to tell you frankly that helped. I’ve been walking to the hospital almost everyday for the past 1 year (it’s a 10-minute walk).

It’s a common notion to drive to the supermarket which is just at walking distance. But sometimes we still use the car. And the worst part is that we tend to part as close to the entrance as possible, so that we have to walk less. These factors are responsible for weight gain.

Tips:

1) Driving in a car is considered ‘cool’ but it’s not especially when you have been gaining a lot of weight. Drop that notion.

2)  Walk to the supermarket or stores that are near-by.

3) Cycling helps too.

4) Try parking a little away from the entrance of the store, so that you have to walk a little more.

None of these will give instant results. But they do help to prevent weight gain. And once you follow them regularly, you will even lose weight. Besides I love walking. It gives me an idea as to what is happening around in my town. I enjoy looking at posters and banners on the wall.
