Mp3 Players Health
In my college campus, almost everyone uses an Mp3 player. It’s so common that the students hear songs in the breaks.
Remember that you might love listening to your favorite song on your Mp3 player, but it does lead to irreversible hearing damage (called noise-induced hearing loss).
There are 3 important aspects to remember:
#1 Volume level - The lesser the better.
#2 Type of headphone - Ear phones cause more harm.
#3 Length of time used - Obviously the more you listen, the worse it is.
Since Mp3 players can save hundreds of songs and can be slipped into your pocket, most people are hooked on to them almost constantly.
With the festive season here, remember not to give an Mp3 player as a gift. And even if you’ve already given it, please inform them about the steps to protect their hearing (like decreasing volume, not to use ear phones, decrease usage time) so that they can enjoy music for a longer time.
Here’s wishing you a ‘Happy Healthy New Year’!
